A provider of accountancy and taxation services to UK SMEs has secured an investment from Inflexion.

TC Group – which has more than 500 employees – provides accounting, bookkeeping, tax, audit and payroll services from its 29 offices, servicing almost 15,000 customers.

It focuses on enabling partners to "retain their autonomy and grow their income" while providing infrastructure and support.

The company has a strong track record of organic and acquisitive growth, with 28 deals completed to date and a strong pipeline of further opportunities.

Inflexion brings significant buy-and build-experience to the group, having completed more than 440 throughout its near 25-year history.

The firm will support TC Group as it continues its strategy to "consolidate the fragmented market and generate increased wealth for its partners and customers", with the investment having been made from the Enterprise Fund V.
